Online TMUA tutor & tuition
Private, one-to-one TMUA tutoring from specialists — Paper 1 & 2, past papers and timed practice, with students scoring 7.5+. From £30/hour, wherever you are.
A strong TMUA score opens doors
The TMUA (also written CTMUA) is used by universities including Cambridge, LSE, Warwick, Durham and Imperial for Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science and related degrees. A high score strengthens your application — and at some universities can earn a reduced offer.
It is not a test of harder maths — it is a test of reasoning, logic and speed using maths you already know. That's exactly why targeted preparation moves scores so dramatically.
Our students have scored TMUA 7.5+ and secured TMUA-based university offers.

TMUA tutoring questions
What is the TMUA and who needs it?
The Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA — sometimes written CTMUA) is a paper used by universities including Cambridge, LSE, Warwick, Durham and Imperial for maths-heavy courses like Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science. A strong score can significantly strengthen your application or even lead to a reduced offer.
How does online TMUA tuition work?
Lessons are live, private and one-to-one. We start with a diagnostic past paper, build a personalised plan around your target score and test date, then work through technique, past papers and timed sections together each week.
How much does a TMUA tutor cost?
Our TMUA tuition starts from £30 per hour, with the exact plan tailored after a free trial lesson — so you can meet your tutor before committing anything.
When should I start preparing for the TMUA?
The TMUA is sat in mid-October, so the summer before is the ideal time to start. Two to three months of weekly structured preparation is enough to transform a score — last-minute cramming is far less effective for a reasoning-based test.
What is a good TMUA score?
Scores run from 1.0 to 9.0. Above 6.5 is strong, and 7.0+ puts you near the top of the cohort — our students have scored 7.5 and above. Some universities publish thresholds at which they make reduced offers.
