How do the free trial and onboarding work?
We start with a free trial lesson and a short assessment to understand your child's level, goals and exam board. You'll then receive a personalised plan before any commitment — no payment is needed for the trial.
Are lessons really one-to-one?
Yes. Every lesson is live and individual — one tutor, one student. Lessons move at your child's pace, focus on their specific gaps, and are never shared with a group.
Which exam boards and curricula do you cover?
We teach GCSE, A-Level, IGCSE, IB and CBSE, aligned to AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge (CAIE); the Australian HSC, VCE, QCE and WACE; New Zealand NCEA; Singapore's SEC and A-Levels; the Canadian provincial curricula; AP; and admissions tests including the TMUA, ESAT, TARA, UCAT and Digital SAT.
How much does tutoring cost?
Hourly rates start from £15 (CBSE), £25 (GCSE), £30 (IGCSE), £35 (A-Level) and £40 (admissions tests such as the TMUA, ESAT and UCAT, and the Digital SAT). The first lesson is a free trial, and the exact plan is set after it.
How much does HSC, VCE, QCE or WACE tutoring cost?
Australian curriculum lessons are priced in Australian dollars: from A$55 per hour in Years 9–10, A$60 in Year 11, A$65 in Year 12, and A$75 for Mathematics Extension 2 or Specialist Mathematics.
How much does NCEA or Singapore curriculum tutoring cost?
NCEA lessons start from NZ$50 per hour at Level 1, NZ$60 at Level 3 and NZ$75 for NZ Scholarship. Singapore SEC lessons start from S$50 per hour in lower secondary and S$60 for SEC, and junior college H1/H2 subjects from S$75.
How much does Canadian curriculum tutoring cost?
Canadian curriculum lessons are priced in Canadian dollars, starting from CA$40 per hour for Grades 4–8 and rising for senior high school, AP and IB courses. See the Canadian curriculum page for the full rate table.
How will I know my child is making progress?
Parents receive regular written progress reports covering topics covered, test scores, attendance and next steps — so you always know exactly where your child stands and what's coming next.
What if we need to reschedule a lesson?
Life happens. Lessons can be rescheduled with reasonable notice, and your tutor will work around exam periods, holidays and school commitments.
How are tutors selected?
Tutors are experienced subject specialists with proven results. We match each student to a tutor based on subject, board and learning style — and you can request a different match if it isn't the right fit.
How and when do we pay?
There's nothing to pay for the free trial. After it, our team will share a plan and pricing tailored to your child — flexible monthly or longer-term options are available. Just message us on WhatsApp and we'll take care of the rest.
