The service

Beyond Tutors provides live, one-to-one online tutoring. Lessons take place over video call at times agreed with you. We match each student with a tutor for their level and subject, and we may change the tutor if needed (for example, through illness), with notice to you.

Free trial lesson

Your first lesson is a free trial with no obligation and no payment details required. After the trial we recommend a plan; you decide whether to continue.

Prices and payment

Lessons are charged per hour. Hourly rates are shown on our Pricing page and confirmed in writing before lessons begin. Where GST applies it is shown on your invoice.

Cancelling or rescheduling a lesson

• Give at least 4 hours' notice to reschedule a lesson at no charge.
• Lessons cancelled with less than 4 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be charged.
• If we cancel a lesson, we'll reschedule it or credit it in full.

Ending a plan and refunds

You can stop at any time; just let us know. You only pay for lessons that take place (and late cancellations, as above). If you have paid in advance for lessons that haven't been taught, they are kept as credit for future lessons. Payments are not refunded as cash.

Your responsibilities

• Provide a working device, a stable internet connection and a quiet space for lessons.
• Make sure a parent or guardian is aware of lessons for students under 18 (see our Safeguarding policy).
• Don't record, share or resell lessons or lesson materials without our permission.

Materials

Notes and resources our tutors create are for your child's personal study. Exam-board papers we link to remain the property of the exam boards.

Results

We work hard to help every student improve, but exam results depend on many factors, so we can't guarantee a particular grade or score.

Liability and law

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the lessons concerned. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
