Admissions test prep that gets results
Admissions tests reward technique and timed practice as much as knowledge — exactly what focused one-to-one tutoring builds.

- Diagnostic first, then a plan built backwards from your test date
- Every official past paper, worked under timed conditions
- Technique for multiple-choice speed, reasoning and timed essays
- Students scoring TMUA 7.5+ and winning competitive offers
Admissions test questions
Which admissions test do I need?
It depends entirely on your university and course. As a guide: TMUA is used by Cambridge, LSE, Warwick, Durham and Imperial for maths-heavy courses; ESAT by Cambridge and Imperial for engineering and science; TARA by Oxford and UCL across a range of subjects; and the 11+ for grammar and independent school entrance. Always confirm the exact test on your course's admissions page — requirements change year to year.
Do you cover the MAT and STEP as well?
Yes. We have dedicated pages for the TMUA, ESAT, TARA and 11+, and we also prepare students for the MAT (Oxford/Imperial maths & computer science) and STEP (Cambridge/Warwick maths). Message us and we'll match you with the right specialist.
How does online admissions test tutoring work?
Every lesson is live, private and one-to-one. We start with a diagnostic past paper, build a personalised plan around your target score and test date, then work through technique, past papers and timed practice each week.
When should I start preparing?
Most university admissions tests are sat in the autumn, so the summer before your application is ideal. For the 11+, most families start 12–18 months ahead. In all cases, steady weekly preparation beats last-minute cramming.
How much does it cost?
Admissions test tuition starts from £28 per hour (11+) and £35 per hour (university tests), with the exact plan tailored after a free trial lesson.
