A US application timeline
Deadlines vary by university — always confirm each school's dates. This is the typical shape of a strong application.
Grade 9–10
Build the foundation — strong grades, meaningful activities, and early SAT/AP groundwork.
Grade 11 (Junior year)
Sit the SAT and key APs, research universities, and start shaping a balanced school list.
Summer before Grade 12
Draft the Common App personal statement and finalise the school list — the highest-leverage window.
Autumn, Grade 12
Supplemental essays, Early deadlines (often ~Nov 1) and requesting recommendations.
Winter, Grade 12
Regular Decision deadlines (often ~Jan 1), then financial aid and scholarship applications.

Do you help students applying to the US from abroad?
Yes — this is a core focus. We work with US-based students and with international and American-curriculum students worldwide who are applying to US universities. Everything is online and on your timezone.
Do universities still require the SAT?
It varies and has been changing — some universities are test-optional while others have reinstated the SAT requirement. A strong score almost always helps, especially for competitive schools and merit scholarships, so we plan around the requirements of your child's target list.
How do the essays work — will you write them?
No — and that matters. Universities check for authenticity, and the essay must be the student's own voice. We guide brainstorming, structure and drafting, and give detailed feedback, but your child writes every word. That's both the ethical and the effective approach.
What is the Common App?
The Common Application is the shared platform most US universities use — one core application (profile, activities, personal statement) plus school-specific supplements. We help your child complete it well and on time.
How much does admissions support cost?
Sessions start from a competitive hourly rate shown in your local currency, with a plan tailored after a free consultation. There's no payment for the first conversation.
